Distribution panels

DISTRIBUTION PANELS

Every year we produce hundreds of secondary distribution panels. Depending on the site where they are positioned and how the electrical system is developed, these panels are very different from one another. For this reason, we have created in-house models useful for production and necessary to guarantee customer satisfaction and avoid any nonconformities.

The secondary distribution panels include a wide range of panels intended for energy distribution, which are usually equipped with an input unit and several output units. The secondary distribution panels represent the second distribution level and can be realized with a plastic or metallic material enclosure. They are generally equipped with molded case circuit breakers and modular devices. This type of panel is involved by less relevant design currents with following limitations on the short-circuit withstand. Usually they are installed close to the utilities. They can be realized with floor (in a cabinet) and wall (in a box) frames depending on the amount of installed switches and on the distributed power.

We are specialists in this field thanks to our many years’ experience and the continuous refreshing through application courses organized by leading manufacturers. We contribute to the creation of new construction projects (new metal structures, new devices, new terminal connections) to increase the functionality of the products purchased from the various brands.

TERMINAL PANELS

The terminal panels or the switchboards contain the protections for the last distribution level (e.g. light control, utilities connection points, industrial utilities, etc.). They are equipped with modular devices and are mainly made of plastic material for wall or wall-embedded installation. This type of panel for domestic and similar use allows rated input currents not greater than 125 A and voltages up to 440 V. In most of the cases the short-circuit currents are not greater than 10 kA.
